where it comes to Republic Day India was declared as a republic and Constitution was formed on 26th January 1952 so 26th January is celebrated as a Republic Day s

if you noticed India became independent in 1947 but the Republic or the Constitution was formed on 1952 so there's a difference of five years in between.

now on Independence Day we actually pay homage to the people who sacrifice their time effort and lives for independence of India 

that is why we remember the freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh Gandhiji Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Lok Minetta luck and many others 

so this is a day to remember the freedom struggle she publicly, on the other hand, honors the citizens who hold the power of Republic nation that is the Constitution of India gives us the power of justice liberty equality fraternity and so Republic Day is to celebrate the power that the Constitution gives to its citizens.

when it comes to celebrating both the days are celebrated differently on Independence Day it is celebrated with flag hoisting parade cultural performances highlighting national struggle and others on Republic Day

स्वतंत्रता दिवस पर भारत ब्रिटिश शासन से स्वतंत्र हो गया जो 15 अगस्त 1947 को है, इसलिए 15 अगस्त को स्वतंत्रता दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है, जहां गणतंत्र दिवस की बात आती है, 

भारत को एक गणतंत्र घोषित किया गया था और संविधान का गठन 26 जनवरी 1952 को हुआ था, इसलिए 26 जनवरी एक गणतंत्र दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है, यदि आपने देखा कि भारत 1947 में स्वतंत्र हो गया था, लेकिन गणतंत्र या संविधान 1952 में बना था, इसलिए बीच में पांच साल का अंतर है।
