Orange is a fruit. It is one of the popular citrus fruits. It is orange in color which is why it is called orange. It is a sour, sweet, and tasty fruit. Orange is found in all seasons but it is mostly available in the winter season.

The orange tree is evergreen. The orange tree also blossoms flowers which are very fragrant. The color of raw orange fruit is green and after ripening, it becomes orange color.

There is a thick peel on it which is peeled and eaten. There are many slices inside an orange. The slices are filled with juice and they also contain seeds. Orange is round in shape and it is a fragrant fruit. It is a very juicy fruit.

It contains a high amount of water. It is sour, which is why citric acid is also found in it. Orange is full of nutritious elements. Orange is the best source of vitamin C.
Vitamins A, B, C, and E, minerals, fibre, potassium, iron, and antioxidant properties are found in oranges. Oranges are beneficial for the eyes, have good digestion maintains low blood sugar level, and prevents many diseases.

Eating an orange a day provides you with the vitamin C you need on a daily basis. Orange juice is an energy drink that brings energy to the body. Orange provides coolness to the body.
It is a very healthy fruit. Many types of things are made from orange juice, ice creams, jellies, toffees, chocolates, jams, candies, etc. most people like to drink orange juice.

Orange fruit also enhances beauty. Many types of cosmetics are also made from them. Most of the oranges are produced in Brazil. The largest production of oranges in India is done in the city of Nagpur. Orange is very beneficial for our bodies.
