Paragraph on An Ideal Student

An Ideal Student Essay Essay on An Ideal Student for Students and Children in English An ideal student is one who is fully conscious of his duties and responsibilities.

He paves the way for the younger generations. The students of today are the leaders of tomorrow. A nation can progress if the students have high ideals before them.

A student who scores high marks is not necessarily ideal. He may set a new record in the school but can prove to be a total failure in his real life.

An ideal student should be an embodiment of simple living and high thinking. He is fearless and bold enough to face the trials and tribulations of life. An ideal student lives by the rules of conduct and discipline.

This is the time of life when the foundation of character is laid. It has aptly been said that if wealth is lost, nothing is lost; if health is lost, something is lost; and if the character is lost everything is lost.

A student without any sense of discipline is like a ship without a rudder. It sails adrift and never reaches the harbour.

He must follow the rules of the school and ought to obey the orders of his teachers. He should select his friends intelligently and wisely.

He must be fully conscious to ensure that no evil tempts him. He knows very well that a single rotten apple spoils the whole basket.

An ideal student knows that he owes a lot to his parents. He never forgets to look after them when he enters his adult life.

He is a servant of humanity. He shares his worries and problems with the members of his family.

He takes a keen interest in social service. He should be active in finding out solutions to various problems prevalent in society. Our country needs such students who have muscles of iron and nerves of steel.

They should be able to dive deep into the secrets and mysteries of the universe. They should be determined to do their duty even at the risk of their own lives.

Such students alone can help the nation in achieving prosperity and all-around development.

Paragraph on An Ideal Student

"An ideal student would be one who was not working for grades but was working because he was interested in the work and not trying to compete with fellow students." The ideals have become hollow talks, much to the talked about and little to be practised.

The old maxim: "If wealth is lost, nothing is lost. If health is lost, something is lost; but if the character is lost, everything is lost," has lost its appeal. Now, the order is reversed. There is a dearth of good characters and ideal persons.

The modern ideals are beautiful models, fashion models and T.V and Film, models. Life has become more materialistic than in past days.

In fact, modern civilization is lop-sided. It is more weighted on the side of the material and less on the side of moral character. Under the circumstances, the search for the ideal type is difficult. Still, we can distinguish between What we are and what we ought to be what we do and what we should do. The must and should are the ideals.

Man is always a student. The process of learning continues from cradle to grave. This is true but by the word student, we mean a person regularly studying at some educational institution.

Student life is an important period of man's life. A student reaps what he sows in this period of life. Therefore, an ideal student has to cultivate all the good qualities of a man in order to build a happy and prosperous life.

"The students of today are the leaders of tomorrow." An ideal student does not mean the student who gets the highest percentage in every examination. But an ideal student is the student whose approach towards his life and studies is ideal. He has a vivid approach to his goals.

He is ambitious but at the same time, he is well aware of limitations. He has his will and also knows how to materialize it. He knows that: "The aim, if reached or not makes great the life."

An ideal student is industrious. He is determined and does not lose heart. He faces the difficulties manfully. He leaves no stone unturned to achieve his goal.

He must have in mind that learning is not an easy process. One has to take great pains in order to achieve something great.

"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time." An ideal student determines his destination and then plans accordingly.

He regularly checks his progress and keeps an eye on his shortcomings. An ideal student tries to build good moral character. "An ideal student is a student who obeys their teachers and elders."

He avoids bad company and tries to reform his habits. A good moral character is a key to success. A student can make or mar his life. An ideal student always takes part in extra-curricular activities in order to keep himself fit. He is well aware of the fact that "A sound mind is in a sound body."

So such activities keep him healthy and prepare him for work. He does not become a bookworm. He should be a good debater, a first-rate player, and a fine athlete.

An ideal student is not careless and reckless in his doing. He is always disciplined. He leads a planned life. He observes the codes of ethics and discipline.

Moreover, an ideal student makes the best use of his spare time and holidays. He does not waste his time on useless activities. He does something creative.

He visits historical buildings and places presenting the beautiful scenes of nature. He knows that a natural scene can teach more than teachers and. In this way, he refreshes himself.

An ideal student always proves himself to be a good citizen. He is always helpful to fellows and never break the law of its personal gains.
