2) All the polling stations were equipped with wheelchairs, hemp, specialist, signage for the convenience of the differently-abled voters.


3) To facilitate the handicapped persons during the door-to-door registration drive during the enrollment process.


4) The use of EVMs in elections was promoted with Braille signage to aid visually impaired voters.


5) Accessibility Observers were introduced, who ensured that all polling stations are accessible to PWDs.

An election is an important feature for a democratic country. people can elect their own representatives. During this " Assembly Election 2021".

I went to our own polling station. The polling of voters began at 7 am. Men and women started to cast their votes in the polling booth. They gave sanitisers and hand glovers as a covid safety measure. 

There were several symbols on the paper. The candidates voted through the electronic voting machine' There was a long queue around 10 AM. from 2 PM onwards, the polling went slow. Arrangements at the polling booths were well planned. 

The planned voting went on till 5 pm. Then the ballot boxes were sealed in front of the officers. we are eagerly waiting for our election results.
