New Year is celebrated throughout the whole world. It is celebrated just like a festival. It brings happiness to the face of millions of people across the globe. 

According to the Gregorian calendar, New Year is celebrated on 1st January of every year. People celebrate this day with huge pomp and joy. On the first day of the new year, people entertain themselves a lot before midnight. 

On the new year day, everyone wears new clothes and congratulate each with a "Happy New Year" Everybody gives present to beloved ones with sweets, Flowers and greetings cards. 

Many types of progress are also held in school on the occasion of the new year. On this day markets are also decorated with colourful lights. 

In some countries, there is a state holiday on the occasion of the new year, so people go for a picnic. On 1st January, people make several kinds of New Year resolutions. 

some people decide to maintain a healthy lifestyle, some others resolve to attain a new goal, etc. new year is an important day for everyone. It brings new people and happiness to you. 

Each new year allows us to understand the past years, the faults done and also helps us to thank god for his blessings.
