Speech On Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra In English

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I stand before you today to shed light on a transformative initiative that holds the promise of reshaping the destiny of our great nation—the "Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra." This visionary campaign, spearheaded by the Government of India in collaboration with states and territories, marks a pivotal moment in our collective journey towards inclusive development.

The fundamental objective of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is to ensure that the benefits of government programs reach every nook and corner of our diverse nation. It is a commitment to leave no eligible individual untouched by the positive impact of various transformative initiatives.

Commencing on the 15th of November 2023, coinciding with Janjatiya Gaurav Divas, this yatra represents a significant stride towards inclusivity. Specially equipped Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Vans were ceremoniously flagged off, initially focusing on districts with a substantial Scheduled Tribe population. The yatra is set to traverse the remaining districts until the 26th of January 2024, symbolizing a journey towards unity, progress, and empowerment.

One of the distinctive features of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is its strategic planning. In areas where electoral processes are underway, the yatra will be thoughtfully scheduled post the lifting of the model code of conduct. This ensures that the campaign can operate efficiently without any hindrance, reaching its intended audience with maximum impact.

This yatra is not a solitary effort but a collaborative endeavor that involves various government departments. Agriculture, Rural Development, Tribal Affairs (for rural areas), and Information & Broadcasting, Housing, and Urban Affairs (for urban areas) are working hand in hand to ensure the success of this monumental initiative.

To facilitate seamless coordination with state and district administrations, Nodal Officers will be appointed at the State/District level. This collaborative approach is essential to orchestrate the campaign's success, as it involves a multitude of stakeholders coming together for a common cause.

The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra underscores the government's unwavering commitment to inclusive development. It places a spotlight on citizen participation and awareness, ensuring that essential services and opportunities are extended to every individual, irrespective of their location or background.

As we embark on this yatra, let us remember that it symbolizes more than just a physical journey—it symbolizes a commitment to the vision of a developed and empowered Bharat. It signifies the government's dedication to leaving no citizen behind in our collective journey towards progress and prosperity.

In conclusion, let us join hands and support the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Through our collective efforts, we can make a difference and contribute to the realization of a brighter, more inclusive future for our beloved nation. Thank you.
