Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra: Empowering India through Inclusive Development

In a landmark endeavor, the Government of India, in tandem with states and territories, has embarked on the ambitious mission titled "Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra."

This significant campaign is designed to bridge the gap and extend the benefits of crucial government programs to every corner of the nation, ensuring that no eligible individual is left untouched by the transformative initiatives.

The core objectives of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra revolve around identifying potential beneficiaries of government assistance, disseminating information about diverse programs, interacting with citizens to comprehend their experiences, and facilitating the enrollment of those yet to avail themselves of these opportunities.

The Yatra commenced on the 15th of November 2023, aligning its inauguration with Janjatiya Gaurav Divas.

Specially equipped Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) Vans were ceremoniously flagged off, initially concentrating on districts characterized by a substantial Scheduled Tribe population.

The Yatra's journey is slated to traverse the remaining districts from the third week of November 2023 until the 26th of January 2024. In areas where electoral processes are underway, the Yatra will be strategically scheduled post the lifting of the model code of conduct.

The execution of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is a collaborative effort involving various government departments, including Agriculture, Rural Development, Tribal Affairs (for rural areas), and Information & Broadcasting, Housing, and Urban Affairs (for urban areas).

To ensure seamless coordination with state and district administrations, Nodal Officers will be appointed at the State/District level, working collectively to orchestrate the campaign's success.

This initiative underscores the government's unwavering commitment to inclusive development, accentuating citizen participation and awareness. By ensuring the outreach of essential services to every individual, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is a crucial step towards realizing the vision of a developed and empowered Bharat. It symbolizes the government's dedication to leaving no citizen behind in the journey towards progress and prosperity.
