1) The full name of JRD Tata is Jehangir Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata.

2) JRD Tata was a French-Indian businessman and aviator.

3) He was born on 29th July 1904 in Paris.

4) He was the second child of businessman Ratanji Dadabhoy Tata and Suzanne Briere.

5) He was the first person in India to own a flying license.

6) He is known as the father of Indian civil aviation.

7) He is best known for being the founder of several industries under the Tata Group.

8) He founded Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Motors, Titan Industries, Tata Tea, Voltas, and Air India.

9) He received the Indian highest civilian award, Bharat Ratna, in 1992.

10) He breathed his last on 29th November 1993 in Geneva of Switzerland.
