250-word essay on why I want to be a nurse

I saw my grandmother come home every day after a long exhausting job in the hospital. I always wondered what she wakes up with every morning and does the same thing over and over again.

My grandmother was a nurse who cared for people and changed their lives. He gave people the attention they needed when they were in the hospital for one reason or another.

When I was in high school, I was able to choose a career to study for one day. This involved working with one person in that work area.

I decided to go to work with my grandmother. The career I wanted to study was more about seeing why she went to work every day. That day, I found out why Grandma got out of bed and went to work with a smile on her face.

Nursing was not just a job. It was a career that allowed him to meet the patients he needed. It was a career that allowed him to meet families and provide them with hope.

As I followed my grandmother throughout the day, I realized I wanted to be a nurse. I wanted to make a difference for people.

I wanted to see a smile on someone's face when I helped him with his everyday needs. I wanted to make a difference and feel good about myself.

I wanted to be a nurse so that I could come home at night knowing that I was helping people. Being a nurse is beneficial.

It is challenging at times, but when you see a patient able to go home with their family, you feel a sense of pride that you were there to help them get better.

Why do I want to become a nurse? Because my grandma showed me why she loves her job so much.

It allowed me to see the rewards of helping people and being involved in caring for those who need you.

I looked into people's eyes when they looked to my grandmother for love and support. That's what I want to experience. I want to make a difference in someone's life.

500 word essay on why I want to be a nurse

I want to be a nurse. As a nurse, I will be able to access my profession anywhere in the world. I can work with multiple people every day, both patients and staff. Plus, nursing would allow me the flexibility to have a family.

I've shared these reasons with many people when asked why I switched from pre-med to nursing. These are all good reasons to choose a profession, but I learned more reasons to be a nurse. I would be able to give and receive more from nursing than I thought I would.

What do I want my nursing future to hold? I have set five goals for my nursing career.

First, I want people to feel God's love when I am under my care. I know I can't love everyone alone; I certainly have to rely on Christ as an example and source of strength. I want people to experience love because they are made in God's image, and He loves them.

Second, I want the people in my care to feel that I am listening - to know that I am listening. By listening, I mean active listening. I want to understand their wishes and concerns. I want to read the feelings behind his words.

Third, I want them to feel cared in every situation as a spiritual person, a victim or a dying person. I want to be able to assess where they are spiritually and ask God how I should help each person get to know Him.

I want to be able to pray with them and share God's Word in a sensitive, enlightening way.

I want afflicted patients to feel the comfort of a compassionate presence. If they need someone to talk to, I want to be able to help them think about things that bring meaning to their lives.

Fourth, I want my patients to feel that I am a competent nurse. When I come into the room, I don't want them to want it to be anyone else.

I want them to feel that they are in good hands. I want to give them a sense of hope that the other employees and I will do everything we can and do it well.

Fifth, I want to have good relations with my coworkers. I want to be known as a hardworking worker and a person who likes patients. I want my work to be an example of the enslavement of Christ.

I know that I cannot accomplish these goals on my own. I have to constantly call on God. Even with their help, I would not be able to complete them all the time.

I need to remember this because I get frustrated when things don't go according to plan.

I have to keep myself healthy if I want to have the energy to achieve these goals. I want to keep God as my inspiration for nurturing - myself as an offering to Him.

I want to be a nurse when I grow up essay

You never heard about social contribution and helping needy people since childhood. Being a human being during school or college days, I feel like doing something for others.

But every profession is different and they also have restrictions. But some professions are great where 24/7 we can help the needy people, medicine is a well-known field in all those fields. To make a professional graph, education and knowledge-related career course is very important but the most important thing is passion and dedication toward the right career path.

Also, desire is an important part so can be chosen according to that profession, so anyone who chooses to work in the medical field as a doctor professional is not the last option. If you think of contributing to the society, where every day different types of patients require medical treatment as well as care, then the nursing profession is not that bad.

This kind of profession is not just for money because you are doing more work than expected here. Who knows you could be the savior of someone's life, it's that kind of profession.

Why I want to be a nurse essay?

About Nursing I believe... "Nursing is a very important profession that has a major impact on the patient's hospital experience." I believe nursing is a profession that patients respect and view as a very important person in their care. I chose a career in nursing because I wanted to incorporate this role and be able to offer some comfort to my patients while they are in a related position. I believe it is extremely difficult to gain one's trust, especially in a short period of time, and nurses are asked to do this day in and day out. Nurses are expected not only to comfort patients, but also to perform many tasks including drug administration, procedures, and more. Nursing requires excellent time management skills, which is the most challenging part of nursing; You have so much to do in such a short time. Nursing is a very important profession that has a huge impact on the patient's hospital experience, and this is why I wanted to be a nurse. I want to continue these examples that have been set by so many great nurses and take it a step further by finding ways that I can spend more time with my patients and enrich their hospital experience so that it Doesn't be as scary as it once was. Was. The way I believe this can be done is to increase volunteerism in hospitals so that volunteers can spend more time with patients. In particular, internships or externships can be of great help to nursing students. This will be an unpaid position that allows nursing students to interact with patients and see how the hospital floor is managed, as well as help the nurse by spending time with the patient. While a screening process is required for most volunteer experiences, I believe this can be reduced due to the relationship with the nursing school. Even though nursing school is a very busy and intense schedule, I personally will take the time to attend these programs and I am sure many of my peers will do the same. It will also create opportunities for current nurses with years of knowledge to influence future nurses. This will be a great opportunity for counseling and I believe it will be a great resource for me and my fellow nursing students. This will have the potential to create a relationship that can be extremely beneficial for both parties.

Why I love being a nurse essay

Since childhood, I wanted to serve the people of my country. When I passed 10th I chose science. My subjects were biology, physics, and chemistry. I have taken these subjects for the purpose of life.

I had ambition. To become a nurse and take care of patients who have no one to take care of them. After passing the Higher Secondary examination, I joined the Nursing course and became a nurse.

The job of a nurse is full of difficulties. I am well aware that I do not have to work twenty hours a day, but I have chosen this profession voluntarily. I am inspired by Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, and Mother Teresa, whose main aim was to serve humanity. The goal of a nurse is also the same love of humanity. My routine is very busy. I wake up early in the morning and take a shower. After having breakfast, I go to separate beds and keep the schedule of patients in my charge.

I go from bed to bed and check patients' temperatures and give them their medicines or injections. I have a complete record of the patient like his temperature, blood pressure, etc. When the doctor is in charge and visits the ward, he checks all the records. There are about fifty patients in my charge. I take personal care of all of them. I console them when they cry.

My smile works like magic for the patient and his/her loved ones. It is a great source of satisfaction for me as I earn my livelihood by serving humanity. I hardly get time for rest as calls can come for me at any time of the day. I have to be alert and proactive because I am in charge of people's lives.

I know my duty because a little carelessness on my part can permanently harm the health of the patient. If the doctor is a patient's assistant / I am the doctor's super assistant. Today parents do not come forward to make their daughters nurse, as they think, this job takes a lot of responsibility, but as a nurse, I feel there is a lot of satisfaction in this profession.

Why I want to be a nurse essay?

All these things are also in my mind, I am very much into curing patients of pain and disease, all these things are pushing me into the profession of nurse. Although it is not an easy task practice makes a man perfect it is true. One thing I realize when I look around everywhere is that most of the people are still far from basic right treatment and that much medical infrastructure is not even developed. Not all diseases are going to be cured by medicine, sometimes affection and proper care are also important, and I believe that the role I can do very well is the main reason why I have the experience to go into the nursing profession. I am doing The main fact is that in every hospital, most of the time nurses are around the patients i.e. the responsibility rests on the nurses and those who are dedicated and love the work, the professional burden can be reduced with a new experience every time. I believe in this because this thing can make us more intelligent and dedicated to work. As a nurse I know I can help a patient with any serious condition, plus I can be a part of someone's happiness in the maternity hospital when a new baby arrives in this world.

Some older people are really unable to walk and don't come to the hospital even for a basic routine checkup, so I can go to their home and help them. This type of action is possible only in the nursing field, I think it is true in social work. From the very beginning of my academic history, I am interested in Biology, Chemistry, English, and Physics, I have scored very good marks in those subjects also.

This thing has always motivated me to make a career related to this subject, I am not much interested in the subject of mathematics, so medical or other career options can be useful for me where there is no need for maths.

Due to this, I am always looking for better career options in the medical field, among them nursing is my priority. I believe that the health sector of every country is completely dependent on not only doctors and administration, but the concerned human resource is also a very important part of it. It is only through joint contribution and efforts that the best medical service can be provided to the patients, along with innovations in health management from time to time.

That's why I'm very excited to be a part of this system, where I can use my knowledge and provide helpful support. A large number of patients and a variety of new diseases are challenging for the medical system day by day, in this scenario, there is a shortage of human resources in the healthcare sector.

So as a youth it is our responsibility to be a part of the healthcare system and try to support to maintain the best medical facility. Otherwise, one day the health system will collapse because nurses and doctors work like soldiers on the border.

One of the best quote words describing what a nurse is is, "Every nurse was drawn to nursing because of her desire to care, serve, or help", I can say these are the right words for just about any nurse. In the end, I can say that to become a good nurse and progress in this field you must be curious, energetic, hardworking, dedicated to learning some new things, and kind in nature where you need to know that there is no burden like How to survive in the circumstances. This quote is apt to explain the quality required to be a nurse, that is, "Nurse is another word to describe a person who is strong enough to tolerate anything and understand anyone." soft enough for". So, I firmly believe that I should use all my skills and knowledge for society and my nation, so I want to become a nurse and achieve success in my profession. Where I will stand firmly with every needy person involved in health support and treatment.
