Poem On Rani Lakshmi Bai In English

In the heart of India, where legends are born,

Lies the tale of a warrior, fierce and strong,

Rani Lakshmi Bai, her name in history etched,

A symbol of courage, in battles she fetched.

Born in Varanasi, a daughter of the soil,

She learned to wield a sword, to never recoil,

Married to the Maharaja, her destiny intertwined,

But little did they know, the warrior she'd find.

When tragedy struck, her resolve was unshaken,

She rose like a storm, a warrior awoken,

With a son on her back and sword in her hand,

She defended her kingdom, her people, her land.

In the sepoy uprising, she took her stand,

Leading her troops, a fearless command,

A queen on the battlefield, a lioness in strife,

Fighting for freedom, for a better life.

With a banner of courage, she rode into war,

Her name echoing loud, near and far,

She became the symbol of a nation's fight,

For justice and freedom, in the darkest night.

Though her life was short, her legacy's vast,

A heroine of history, from the distant past,

Rani Lakshmi Bai, a queen so brave,

In the annals of time, her memory we save.

Her spirit lives on, in every heart,

A symbol of strength, from the very start,

In the pages of history, her name will stay,

Rani Lakshmi Bai, the warrior queen of her day.
