Envisioning India 2047 Essay

Our country India got freedom from 200 years of slavery by the British on 15th August 1947. At the time of independence, our country had inherited a backward and stable economy. Our economy has developed a lot since independence, but it is not enough. As we all are celebrating "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" to commemorate 75 years of Independence. This festival not only symbolizes our achievements since independence but also encourages us to envision the future possibilities of India to make our country the best country in the world by 2047. India is trying to become self-reliant in every field. India is the fastest-growing economy in the world. In 75 years of independence, we have achieved a lot in every field. The Government of India has started many campaigns like the “Clean India Mission”, “Open Defecation Free”, “Har Ghar Jal Mission” and to provide 2.5 crore household electricity connections, etc. All these initiatives are making India a self-reliant country. The time has come to achieve new goals so that India can become a global leader in the Diamond Jubilee of its Independence. We should focus on the development of human resources. For this purpose, we have some initiatives like 'Digital India', 'Skill Development Programme', 'Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan', and 'New Education Policy' which empower the youth. We need to harness the hidden energy of our youth which can make India a superpower in the international arena. We can also set the goal of shining India on the world stage by achieving a 100% literacy rate, affordable healthcare, employable youth, and leadership in artificial intelligence which is essential for the development of our country today. conclusion: India ranks 66th out of 195 countries in the Global Health Protection Index 2021, which is better than in previous years, but we still need to improve as healthy people can contribute to the nation's well-being. To be a world leader, we also need to protect our culture, ethnicity, and heritage. We should come together and contribute to the development of our country by bringing together all the people without any discrimination on the basis of caste, creed, religion, and economic background. After 100 years of independence, there should be harmony, trust, peace, honesty, and truth among the people.
