1) Yuri Gagarin was the first man to travel into space.

2) He went to space on 12th April 1961.

3) Yuri Gagarin was sent into space by the USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics).

4) Yuri Gagarin was born on 9th March 1934 in 10 Russia (USSR).

5) He was a son of a carpenter.

6) Yuri became a Soviet pilot and Cosmonaut (Astronaut).

7) Before he started his mission into outer space, he said “Poyekhali”.

8) The meaning of Poyekhali is "Let's go".

9) Yuri Gagarin confirmed that the Earth is blue.

10) He also said, "Earth is so beautiful!" from space.

1. Yuri qagarin was a Soutet pilot and a cosmonaut. 

2. Gagarin was born on 9 March 1934 in the village of Klushino, Russia. 

3. He was the son of a carpenter 

4. Yuri joined the Soviet Air Force in  1955 and by 1959 he was training to become a cosmonaut. 

5. He went to space on 12th April., 41961. 

6. A few seconds after Leaving Ea he yelled Toyekhalil (which means "let's go" ) over the radio circuit. 

7. He became the first human to journey into outer space. 

8. Gagarin never went into space again but took an active part in training other cosmonauts. 

9. Gagarin was killed by another pilot in the crash of a two-seat jet aircraft while on a routine training flight. 

10. After his death in 1968 the town of czhatsh was renamed, Gagarin.
