When we see an army officer our hand automatically wants to salute them common people have such huge respect for them. it is an amazing journey to be an army officer and many of us want to be a part of this journey. It is amazing to do something for our nation and really a dream to serve the nation as an Army officer.

The army protects us from any kind of terrestrial attack, they make sure that each and every citizen of the country stay on the borders like a protective wall. The army is disciplined and always be focused this help them to perform well and avoid any kind of mishap. 

A famous gallantry award winner is caption Vikram Batra. I am highly inspired by Vikram Batra as he was fearless and courageous and always ready to serve his nation. his helpful nature and bravery inspire me a lot. He inspires me to join the army to serve my country Inspiration is a very strong force. there are various sources for looking for other lucrative careers. But it takes courage to join the armed forces like Vikram Batra and lice a life of honour. 

those who choose the life of soldier choose to live a life with dignity, bound by honesty and an unwavering sense of duty, this is his motivation to join the army. I also want to join the army with a desire to serve my nation and voluntarily dedicate my life to the defence of the holy motherland.

Introduction- The government of India has been giving "Gallantry Awards' every year since independence. Gallantry awards are given to show respect for acts of bravery and sacrifice of officers, civilians, armed forces. Gallantry is bravery shown by someone who is in danger, for example when soldiers are fighting in a war. 

Meaning Of Gallantry Award- Gallantry Awards are given by the government of India to honour the acts of bravery and sacrifice of the Indian to honour the acts of bravery and sacrifice of the Indian armed forces and civilians, He is my favourite gallantry Award winner. Batra joined the Indian Military Academy (IMA) at Dehradun, in June 1996 in the Manekshaw Battalion. 

After completing his 19-month training course, he graduated from the IMA on 6 December 1997 and was commissioned as a lieutenant into the Indian Army. He sacrificed his life fighting for India fearlessly in the war.

He was posthumously awarded the Param Veer Chakra, India's highest and most prestigious award for valour, for his actions during the 1999 Kargil War, during which he led one of the most difficult mountain warfare operations in Indian military history. 

Captain Vikram Batra inspired me to join the Indian Army- Vikram Batra was a fearless and courageous soldier that's why I am highly inspired by him. His bravery and his love for the nation inspire me a lot. He inspired me to join the army to serve my country. There are various sources for looking for other career opportunities, But it takes courage to join the Indian army like Vikram Batra and live a life of honour. 

Conclusion- Those who choose the life of a soldier choose to live with dignity, pride and a strong sense of duty, this is his motivation to join the army. I also want to join the army with the desire to serve my nation and dedicate my life to the defence of the "motherland".
