summary:

The mysterious affair at styles published in 1920 this is the first Agatha Christie novel that introduces the most popular detective in the literature Hercules Poirot the Belgian refugee of the great war.

The story of this novel was narrated by his friend Hastings who was a guest at his house at Sal's court that belongs to MRS. Emily's angatowr the latter lives at styles with her new husband Mr. Alfred angatowr who's way younger than her as well as her two stepsons John and Lauren Cavendish and several other people.

So they live normally at the same house until that late night when they wake up to find Emily angatowr dying of what proved to be striking poisoning this was the moment for Hastings to enlist the help of our main character the famous detective Hercules Poirot

Who was only in a nearby village Mr. Poirot pieces together the events surrounding the murder starting from the argument that was heard between the victim and someone to the absence of her husband at that night and this is how almost everyone became suspicious of committing the murder it was hard to figure out who did it and of course if you are interested you go now and read it to know who and how he did it?

Review:

Now let's move on to why would you like to read this novel well first you need to be one of those who enjoy reading mystery since you need to concentrate on the events and the characters in the story then if you do you'll enter this big world of mystery that you can go through only in Agatha Christie stories and if you want to go through them while you prefer to start from the very beginning start from the mysterious affair at styles for a debug novel this one is excellent.

The writing is very clear and the pace is brisk and entertaining for a mystery novel and especially for a beginner, it was amazing how you can go through it quickly and excitedly without needing to concentrate too much or reread the events.

The characters are all interesting there are not too many to the point that obliges you to write them down, on the contrary, you can remember them easily you'll meet one of the main characters in this whole world, Poirot, this brilliant detective was a bit annoying and painful and can make you angry and happy at the same time

You'll follow him through the eyes of his friend Hastings who faces a lot of difficulties to understand what's prior thinking or trying to do which is something that you will feel as well as the story is full of twists and unexpected conclusions.

Bottom line:

While reading this novel I had different feelings I was excited to discover more things in the story and amazed by some unexpected twists and weird deductions but mostly I learned new things from

First and foremost I confirmed that I am well less smart than I thought I was most of my theories and conclusions were totally false while I felt brilliant coming up with them which made me learn that while investigating.

we should suspect everything and everyone and be ready to believe in every possibility and to never let what seems very clear to us control our deductions like nothing looks in a certain way

Just because it clearly or usually do we need to include everything in our investigation to reveal the truth and most importantly put aside our emotions and feelings something that Hastings seemed to learn from this first affair hopefully we're not going to see that in the next novels well I don't know we'll see later

In short, I would like to say that this is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to start reading mystery novels and to have an idea of who is the famous Agatha Christie and what are her books like.
