Essay on social media advantages and Disadvantages

The various inventions of scientists have made life easier and happier for all generations social media is one of those modern means of communication that has gained popularity in recent times but its advantages and disadvantages have always been the topic of discussion for all of us Zintego

Advantages of social media

The first which I would like to mention is education yes social media has a lot of benefits in education for students and teachers as well it is really an effective tool no doubt online studies and audiovisual studies can be done easily as information is available at the fingertips and studying by this method helps students in grasping things easily and fastly

Another advantage is we get the latest updates about the happenings and the problems going on in our country and all over the world also using social media in our free time gives us peace and relaxation mainly the youth

Another advantage and the main advantage is using social media for connectivity for internet-based communication and we understood its real importance in this corona period because now during this pandemic situation

when we cannot step out of our homes can't go out to meet our friends family relatives and the ones to whom we relate, social media has become our support at this time also we are able to talk to each other and are able to connect with each other though we welcome the blessings and the advantages of social media, we have to consider the other side of the picture also that is its disadvantages

Disadvantages of social media

The first one hacking according to me is one of the most dangerous negative effects of social media because personal data and privacy can be easily hacked and shared on the internet and this can cause financial losses as well as loss to real life

Excessive use of social media is another disadvantage that is mostly seen among the teenagers like me and you all there because we all are mostly affected by the addiction to social media many students get distracted from their studies because of social media, the same time using social media for much time also causes harm to our eyes brain because the radio waves penetrated through the electronic devices, therefore excess usage of social media is also harmful to our mental health

You might be wondering why I am blaming social media this much is really social media a bad thing that's not the fact guys, I’m not saying that using social media is a crime we can definitely use it but in a positive way so that it should not leave any negative impact on us it is in the hands of the users to use it in a positive or a bad way.

I myself have learned many new things and explored many things from social media and so as you all can according to me it is in the hands of the users if you have to use it for a good purpose or for the other because social media is really a good platform to demonstrate your knowledge talent and skills so take the decision it's now the time

The foundation of social media

In the past decade, the number of people using social media has grown skyrocketed when Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg a student at Harvard University just 16 years ago

Its use was limited to Harvard students since it became available for any user over 13 in the world just 15 years ago in 2006 the website acquired 1 billion three hundred and ten million users worldwide making it the most widely used website in history

The fastest-growing demographic of Facebook users is the 45 to 55-year-old age group also rapidly increasing the number of businesses both large and small creating Facebook accounts to promote their products and services.

Nearly any big name in music sports and movies that you could think of has a social media platform like Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram page for users to like and follow

It's pretty obvious that we spend quite a bit of our time on social media but does age play into it research has shown that 18 to 24-year-olds spend three-point eight hours on social media 35 to 49-year-olds spend 3 hours and 50 to 64-year-olds spend 2.4 hours, judging from new statistics it appears that younger individuals are the most captivated by social media.

positive impact social media definitely has its ups and downs social media can support communicating with people you haven't spoken to in a while allowing conversations over long distances people can also use social media to share info such as homework assignments photographs or simply spreading the word on a certain topic.

finally, social media can be used to publish business and event details for example if someone hosts a birthday party he or she can post the event details on a Facebook group page that only the guests can see as fun and useful as social media can have many serious issues as well.

start with the invasion of privacy whenever someone posts a picture or a status update all of their friends can see it this also includes accounts that appear to be safe but are secretly predators

Also, there is the concept of cyberbullying although insults on pictures and status updates can be deleted the victim still sees them this type of abuse can lead to depression and even suicide,

when we constantly see people post pictures on their Instagram accounts of glamorous vacations and shots of them with their boyfriend or girlfriend we start to feel what is called FOMO the fear of missing out causes anxiety and makes people think that they are not having an enjoyable life because they only see the appealing photos posted by their friends

furthermore, people can feel pressure to fit in by dressing and behaving like the people they see on social media if they don't have a social media account and don't post the right things on it they just might be ignored by their friends similar to magazines and television social media can potentially cause drops and self-esteem and distorted self-image in people especially girls by subjecting them to unrealistic beauty standards

considering that social media can really make life difficult and cause unnecessary stress it can be a great tool if we choose to correctly use it without addiction

  1. The objective here is to drink this mixture 7–8 times a day a few days before the drug test. If you have recently struck the steam quite hard, be sure to carry a bottle of this blend around to make sure that you consume enough of it. Do not worry about working the shampoo through the ends—only the 3” closest to the scalp will be tested, so running it through your lengths will waste the product (and it isn't cheap!). This shampoo has a light sweet scent that is not harsh or aggressive in any way. A detox is a process that entails abstaining from a substance, in this case cannabis or THC, in order to cleanse your system. The body is able to drain THC out of its system if it does not consume cannabis.
